Hi, in previous videos I’ve covered ways to improve your writing – and your chances of getting published. Here is a quick summary of my top 10 tips that are the most important to follow to increase your odds of getting published.

1. Write what you want.

2. Be consistent. Write every day (and yes, that does mean Saturday and Sunday).

3. Make every word.

4. Make your first sentence awesome.

5. Write stories that make you feel something.

6. Eliminate distractions when writing. And I’m talking about your phone here. Just don’t have it anywhere near you when you write.

7. Create before you consume. And this means to create your own content before consuming anyone else’s.

8. Ignore writer’s block … it’s not a real thing.

9. Continue learning.

And 10. Trust yourself.
